He hated all the American music that permeated the culture after the war and decided to record good old decent Deutsche Volkslieder. I recommend downloading some Heino songs from whatever flie-sharing program you use. Bottom line, Heino is a real relic of post-war German kitsch.

I wounder if I should make a CD of Heino and Ema Sumac once I get his stuff? -
